Folder Sizing Software      (July 2007)

Folder Sizing software tend to be simple utilities which display the storage space taken up by folders. Additional features include subfolder details, file listings, and various views of the information (including pie charts).

Review Results
This review is in work. Until the review is complete, I suggest the following application for your folder sizing needs:

  • TreeSize Pro
    TreeSize Pro adds a Windows Explorer context menu entry to all folders. It's very easy to use and provides a wealth of information about folders and files found within the selected folder.

    TreeSize Pro is available for $55.

If you're holding out for a freeware folder size utility, then I suggest either of the following. The first is the freeware version of TreeSize Pro, from the same company. The second is a utility that integrates into Windows folders to add a column with the size of a folder (including its subfolders):
