Stereograms

Stereograms are one of my favorite 3D topics. When I first saw a stereogram, a B52 hidden in a colored random dot background, I couldn't see the image of the B52. Like many folks I wasn't sure if I was the butt end of a joke, or if there was something there.

After months of trying, the 3D image just suddenly appeared. I was startled! For months after that I must have told every person I met about stereograms - I was like a religious fanatic, ranting about the revelation that I had seen. To this day, even the simplest stereogram continues to amaze me. I just like looking at them.
