gbCodeLib - Remote Folders|
The gbCodeLib database filename is 'gbcodelib.txt', which is a standard text file kept in the
folder where gbCodeLib was installed. The snippet database in the installation folder is called
the local database.
gbCodeLib can save a copy of the local database to one or more alternate folders.
At any one time, an alternate folder can be designated as the current 'remote' folder.
gbCodeLib provides a one-button method for switching between the local database and the
database in the current remote folder.
The three menu functions for managing local and remote databases are:
On startup, gbCodeLib will display whichever database, local or remote, was being displayed
at the time the last session was closed.
A typical use of the remote folder is to place a snippet database into a folder for access
by multiple users.
