That Chocolate Dessert       
        
        
Crust:  
2c vanilla wafer crumbs       
1 c chopped pecans    
¼ c margarine, melted
        
Combine in small bowl, pat 1/2 mixture in 9" square pan.  Reserve other half to  
sprinkle on top. Press firmly.
        
Cream:
½ c margarine  
1 c powdered sugar    
        
Add:            
3 well beaten egg yolks        
1 ½ oz melted chocolate       
½ t vanilla      
        
Fold In:        
3 stiff beaten egg whites     
        
Pour over crumb mixture.  Spread evenly. Sprinkle remainder of crumbs on top.  
        
Store in freezer.      
        
Note:  I usually double the recipe on the filling and 1½ x the crust.
