Grandma's Chili
1 pound ground round or ground chuck
1 can tomato soup
1 soup can water
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chili powder (or more)
Frito's (optional)
Grated sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
Brown ground meat in large fry pan. Drain grease. Leave meat in pan.
Chop onion, add to meat. Mince garlic, add to meat. Add tomato soup,
water and chili powder. Mix well. Cook, covered, one hour over medium heat.
Serve very hot with Frito's and grated cheese on top.
You can double the recipe and freeze for another day.
