7-10 # cured bone-in half ham (shank end)

Bread Crumb Topping  
3       slices white sandwich bread (good-quality, about 6 ounces), torn into rough pieces        
1 1/2  tablespoons unsalted butter (cold), cut into 6 pieces        
Pasta and Cheese      
½       pound elbow macaroni          
½       tablespoon table salt  
2 ½     tablespoons unsalted butter  
3       tablespoons all-purpose flour          
3/4     teaspoons powdered mustard         
1/8     teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)   
2 1/2  cups milk (see note)   
4       ounces Monterey Jack cheese , shredded (1 cup)   
4       ounces sharp cheddar cheese , shredded (1 cup)    
1/2     teaspoon table salt   
Long pretzels  
4 oz cream cheese    
4 oz cool whip
3 oz strawberry jello  
10 pkg frozen strawberries
