Stereogram Gallery: Sprites
One of the most fascinating versions of a stereogram used a small number of images (sprites),
accurately placed horizonatally to create the 3D effect. It's somewhere in between
text stereograms and texture stereograms. Many folks think these are the most
interesting of all stereograms - and I'm inclined to agree with them.
Unfortunately, my freeware program
gbStereogram
does not yet support the generation of sprite stereograms.
So, here is a selection of various sprite stereograms I've accumulated
as I've learned about stereograms. Unfortunately I did not track where they
came from. Over the next few weeks (today is 30 April 2006) I'll try to locate the
sources and post credits as appropriate, as well as remove any images for which I
cannot get approval to post.
Sorry - but gbStereogram is not out yet. I'll have examples up as soon as possible!
